    Description

The string bag with long handles is easily carried on the shoulder and, besides carrying home foods in them, they are popular as a beach bag, as the sand passes through the mesh. Fits perfectly in the bag or backpack when not in use. By making it a habit to always carry the net box in your bag, you are always ready for sustainable everyday zero waste shopping! Bring your own bag!

One of the benefits of the string bag is that it expands with the content and thus fits more than you can think of into it.

Because polyester leaks microplastics in laundry (microplastics leaks into the cloak water where they get higher up in the food chain and finally end up on our plate, if we eat fish), all KeepJar textile products are in natural materials. We use exclusively cotton labels with GOTS-certified non-toxic presses, free of carcinogenic, toxic and hormone-releasing substances.

The Swedish zero waste brand KeepJar was founded in 2013 and is one of the first brands in the world to really take practical reuse seriously through its award-winning products and innovations. On the net box label - KeepJars slogan: "Recycle for life".

    Manufacturing and dyeing

Manufactured in India at a GOTS-certified factory. The factory is visited regularly. The GOTS standard guarantees that the fabric is organic and that a variety of international rights for employees are met and that no toxic, hormonal, carcinogenic or polluting chemicals are used in the production and dyeing. Extensive controls are carried out by independent certification bodies, which monitor and test all stages of the production chain - the organic cotton, spinning, dyeing and imports are checked.

    Other information about the factory

The factory has a social focus and here are some examples. The usual thing in the textile industry is that textile workers get paid per sewn product, which creates enormous stress for the employee. At our factory you apply monthly wages, which is unusual in the textile industry. Workers are also paid even temporarily in production pace. Parents have the right to go down in time (to relate to family life and household work). There is an action plan to avoid sexual harassment at the workplace and a special committee has meetings once a quarter to identify and prevent. One actively works to hire housewives to pack products, as a way to get them out of work. 80% of the workers live within 10 minutes walking distance from the factory and can choose to have lunch at home.
